You can see the Odysseus design from the picture on the left. These tiles are manufactured by APC, one of the leaders in cork flooring. You can put it over your existing floor, or directly onto the sub floor (it has to be flat - duh), and it just slots together. No glue needed. Cork tiles are antistatic, which means easy maintenance, and it is beneficial for allergy sufferers. The cushioning effect of cork eases your steps while its insulating quality cuts down on your heating costs. APC cork flooring glueless planks lock in place easily. Finished in an acryllic-urethane. The planks are constructed in layers: A top walking surface of 3.2mm cork; a layer beneath of 6.0 mm HDF board with a tongue and groove; and a final 1.8 mm balancing layer of cork to impact sound insulation.
